Ruth is a social worker with over eight years' specialist experience working in not-for-profit organisations and police stations to support women who have experienced domestic violence.

She has a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) from Queensland University of Technology. She is a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers.

She has completed two years of Bible college and is currently working as a counsellor.

Ruth was born in India, brought up in New Zealand, and is now based in Brisbane Australia where she is married to her husband Michael.
